The MMBT16CHFWB is a state-of-the-art Digital Round Braider with quiet operation and a cost-effective platform and comes standard with casters. MMBT’s horizontal braiders do not need a compressor to operate.

Wide range of projects can be produced by changing wire diameter and shape (round vs. flat or twisted), number of wires per carrier, tension per wire, and selected braid patter. (Full Herringbone, Full Diamond or Half Diamond).
MMBT medical catheter braiders are triaxial braiding capable. The number of triaxial wires is equal to half the number of the Machine’s regular number of carriers. MMBT16CHFWB has 16 spring-loaded virgin nylon carriers with carbide eyelets, and with the optional triaxial kit, from 1 to 8 triaxial carriers. Triaxial tubes with ceramic eyelets come standard. Triaxial kits are available for purchase. MMBT’s braiders have 4 horns per gear that can rotate @ 300 RPM and have up to 600 picks/min. Up to 10 segments can be programmed in one recipe, allowing for different PPI for each segment.
